Keysafe padlock

  • What does it do?:

Keysafe that does not need screwing to the wall

  • What’s the problem?:

Gives people the opportunity to test a keysafe without having to have one fitted to a wall.

  • What our testers liked:

Reasonably easy to unpack and open. Resetting was straightforward.

  • What our testers disliked:

Some concerns that the hinge pin could be knocked out making it easy to break into.  There is no indication of where to line the dial codes in order to open the safe. Numbers not very easy to see.

  • What is interesting:
  • Cover the hinge pin and make the numbers contrast against the dial.
  • What our testers said:

"Awkward to set up and use but good option if you do not want to drill into your house."

  • Manufacturer:

  • Approximate cost: £16
