Fabric life size dolls

  • What does it do?:

Sooths and occupies residents of care homes, but can be used in a domestic setting too.

  • What’s the problem?:

    Boredom, agitation or apathy.

  • What our testers liked:

Dolls seem to provide comfort to some of the residents who enjoy looking after and chatting to them.  They are soft and slightly weighted so feel comforting to hold.

  • What our testers disliked:

Dolls can be a little visually off-putting to families and staff.

  • What is interesting:
  • carers made clothes for the dolls and donated them to the care homes.
  • What our testers said:

"These dolls can provide a focus and comfort for those in the later stages."
