Habitat clock

  • What does it do?:

It's a clock with date and time.

  • What’s the problem?:

Large scale helps folks keep track of day and date.

  • What our testers liked:

Easy to set up , can sit on a shelf or attach to a wall, easy clean design, day and date displays are a good size and easily read. Some models have a different colour background on Saturday and Sunday, this was found to be useful.

  • What our testers disliked:

Clock face is a little small and hard to see from a distance, the day flips over at midnight and midday, this makes a noticeable mechanical noise which can be disturbing if you wanted to use the clock in a bedroom.

  • What is interesting:
  • One carer found that moving the clock at regular montly(ish) intervals helped their person remain aware of the information it shows.
  • What our testers said:

Good, well made, large and easy to read clock, there are several versions, ones that show year rather than location were found more useful.

  • Manufacturer:

  • Approximate cost: £75
