Monitors routine use of electrical devices and alerts any change.
Provides reassurance that a person living alone is following aspects of their daily routine by tracking the use of an electrical item through a plug. Some concern at leaving sockets switched on.
Liked that it did not require a smartphone or internet, that texts could by received by any phone.
Liked the unobtrusive nature of the monitoring.
Initial thoughts: Concerns over size (too bulky) poor phone connection missing the alert, cost - high initial cost and ongoing subscription (subscription caused most concern) Would the PWD switch it off at the socket.
Initial impressions: This offers welcome reassurance but some aspects i.e. monthly subscription, and leaving sockets switched on created unease.
